Afternoon at the Park

The weather this spring (which only started this week!) has been incredible.  We have been taking full advantage of it and Owen's walking skills are improving everyday which makes the park that much MORE FUN!  Check out this little video of our latest excursion to Waterworks park, which is about a five minute walk from our house.  He also is enjoying using a new word...flower :)  

Now we are really WALKING! & a little bit of talking

Owen turned 17 months on the 5th, and about 1 month after taking his first tenative steps hes figuring out how to walk on the sidewalk. He is discovering all that nature has to offer and seems to be a big fan of sticks :) He has also improved his vocabulary now he is saying...Hello, Hi, Bye Bye, All Done, Cookie (this is not such a good one :), Doggie, Light, Daddy, Nana, Car and Yum...that's all that we can decipher for now...he sure is saying a lot more! 

Mara's Third Heavenly Birthday

Mara's Birthday was a very bittersweet day for us, as always.  We remembered and missed her (as we do everyday) but especially this day.  Some days it is hard to believe it has been three years, others we can feel the time between the day we said hello and goodbye.  Thank you to all of our family and friends who remembered Mara on her third birthday - Your love and support for us and for her means the world. 

Owen had a little temp on Mara's birthday so he was extra cuddly...

We bought three balloons for Mara, but one partially deflated over night...I think she just wanted to leave one for Owen to play with.

Splash Village - Frankenmuth

Better late than never right :)

We spent a very fun day and night at Frankenmuth's very own Splash Village on Saturday February 11th.  The waterpark itself was pretty incredible, but Owen was mainly intrested in the water spouts :)  Owen also had fun with his little buddies, Jacob Joffe and the Hilbert Girls :)
