Family fun day at the ZOO!

What a great day!  Breakfast at Coney Island and a trip to the zoo...then home to watch the Lion's win their season opener and go undefeated!!!

Eleven MONTHS!

Hard to believe it really has been 11 MONTHS!  Has been better than we ever imagined.  Owen is such an amazing little boy and has brought so much joy and love into our lives.  We went to Arts, Beats and Eats in Royal Oak to celebrate this wonderful day as a family.  Of course Owen had to sport a new hat for the occasion.  I also want to thank Arts, Beats and Eats for the extra long afternoon nap that allowed me to get all this blogging done!  YEAH!

Fetch with Puppy

In the past couple of weeks Owen has started to learn to "throw" the ball for Puppy this will keep them both entertained for a while, and really keeps us pretty entertained as well.  These two sure are good buddies :)  Owen has even picked up a little puppy talk and he seems to mimic her wining.

Engagement/Birthday Party at Heather's house in Tecumseh, ON

Owen's first international trip took place on 8/20/11.  We had a GREAT time meeting Heather's family and of course hanging out with Cousin Cammy.

Great Grandma Monteith's 88th Birthday

We are very lucky to live so close to Great Grandma Monteith that we are able to have lunch with her and Grandma Monteith most Thursdays.  Here are some pictures from a very special lunch we had to celebrate her 88th birthday.  These pictures were taken on August 4th (needless to say I'm a little behind on the blogging...)

Congratulations Scott & Heather!!!

Big news from the White side of the family.  Uncle Scott is now engaged to Heather, their wedding is schedule for August 11, 2012.  We are SO happy and excited to welcome Heather into the family.  Here is a picture of Owen with his soon to be Aunt.
