Swimming!!!

SEVEN MONTHS!!!

Owen turned seven months on Thursday May 5th!  It was a beautiful (finally) spring day.  He is getting so big so fast.  Some major milestones hit are sleeping through the night (fingers crossed I am not jinxing anything), sitting up, eating a whole array of solids (we all know this boy can eat :) and just continuing to amaze and delight us every step of the way.  Here are some pics of his big day :)

March of Dimes - March for Babies May 1st 2011

Angel Kisses had tables at three walks in the Metro Detroit area we participated in the one at Hudson Mills.  All in all Angel Kisses raised over $850 in support of MOD, Go Team!!! 

We were very touched that we had so much family come out to walk in memory of Mara.  Owen was sporting his straw fedora...which is always a show stopper, he even made the Slide show for the Ann Arbor News. 

They did a balloon release for the babies that were not with us to walk...very special

Jacob Joffe's 1st Birthday Party

We were so thrilled to be able to celebrate such a happy day with Eric and Tisha Joffe and their beautiful boy Jacob who was turning one!  The party was on Saturday April 10th at the Joffe cottage.  We always love the cottage, as it is the place that John and I meet :)  I hadn't been there in over two years and it is amazing to see how much the families have grown since then, there were a lot of little ones to celebrate with Jacob.  Here are some pics.
